  • CTEC provides semester-long vocational training courses. Courses are offered at no charge to all high school students and with a partnership with San Antonio ROP, students receive hours that may be used for elective credits towards high school graduation. We still have open registration for the Ceramic Manufacturing, Fashion Design, Urban Farming (Agriculture) and Water Distribution courses. If students are interested, please have them submit an application via online or PDF to be considered for registration.

Softball Fundraiser! Chipotle Fundraiser for Girls Softball on Monday, December 17th from
4pm to 8pm.

Adopt A Family Please help 3 families in need this holiday season!  Your kind gift will have an impact and will bring joy and blessings to these special families.  The first family is a single dad with a 9 and 15 year old boys and a 12 year old girl. The second family is a single mom with an 18 year old boy and 14 year old girl.  And the third family is a single mom with a 14 year old boy. Toys, clothes, gift cards or any gifts will be greatly appreciated. You can drop off gifts in nurse’s (Mrs. Clark: office between the hours 7-11am and 12-3pm).  The last day to drop off the gifts is Tuesday December 18th.  For more information please contact Bryanna Bosler, PTSA Adopt A Family coordinator

Free SAT! Parents of Juniors if your student is interested in taking the SAT on March 6, 2019 San Dimas High School is hosting the exam and offering the exam for free.  Please see Sue Biagianti from the hours of 7am-10am.

SDHS PTSA - Do you know a BUSD employee, parent, grandparent, student or community member that does good things for students?  Please see attached form on how to nominate that person for a Honorary Service Award.

Make a positive difference in your student’s education. Treat a classroom(s) and/or the media center with a tax deductible donation to their Saint Fund account. Softball Fundraiser! Chipotle Fundraiser for Girls Softball on Monday, December 17th from

Baseball Tryouts: December 10th-13th from 2:45 to 4:45 on Varsity Baseball field. All players must have a cleared physical on file/uploaded to participate. Please come dressed in baseball attire with proper equipment - glove, cleats, etc. Any players interested that are in a current sport please see Coach Regan in PE office immediately to arrange a tryout date. Girls Wrestling Wins the West Covina Tournament! For the 1st time in programs history,  our Lady Saints came home with the team Championship!! We couldn't be more proud of how they pushed through!

Grad Nite!  We will be collecting payments this Friday, 12/14 at lunch from 11:30–12:30.
There are 2 more dates to get our final payments in at the $180 price. Friday, 12/14 during lunch by the media center 11:30–12:30 pm and Wednesday, 12/19 in front of the office 2:30–3:00 pm.

Do you feel like you need a hot chocolate, caramel or vanilla drink at break?  It's been cold outside and ASB is selling these hot drinks in the student store!  Bring $1.25 over to the store and stay warm this holiday season.

CSU Colleges: Priority application deadline for CSU colleges will be extended for ALL students from November 30th to December 15th

Attention all saints, the senior class yard sale fundraiser has been postponed to a later date in January.  The senior class officers in ASB are still collecting donations of items to sell(furniture, clothes, books, toys, etc). If you would like to donate items or volunteer to earn service hours for SDCP please see Mr. Waage in room D8 or Mrs. Carson in F2. All help is appreciated!

This week is Computer Science Education Week. Come to the Media Center for more details. There will be College visits, information tables, and an Hour of Code activity for all students. Be sure to stop by the Media Center or see Mrs. Leaming in MC5 for more information.

Interested in Computer Science but do not know where to start? Come to the Media Center on Wednesday December 5 to participate in an Hour of Code Activity. Learn about what Computer Science is and code a project before the end of lunch! No coding experience necessary. Everyone is welcome and light snacks provided. See Mrs. Leaming in MC5 or in the Media Center for more information. Let's get excited about bringing more CS to SDHS!

Seniors! Are you planning to pursue studies in science, technology, engineering, or math (STEM)? Edison is offering 30 high school seniors a $40,000 scholarship to pursue a STEM field. Applicants must have a minimum of a 3.0 GPA. Find more information at:

Calling Shull Elementary Alumni: Attention Senior Shull Alumni,  Shull 5th grade science Chaperones are needed.  If you are a senior, and attended Shull Elementary you have an opportunity to earn some community service hours, and have some fun at the same time.  Apply to attend 5th grade science camp as a chaperone.  Science camp will take place February 13-15, 2019.  See Mrs. Lowary in the front office for more information and instructions on applying.

Seniors! The Young Legislators Program offers high school seniors a front row seat to the public policy and political arena. During the six month program, students will meet once a month to become better advocates on issues they care about, gain valuable leadership skills, and learn about the legislative process. The program concludes with a free trip to northern California to visit the Facebook headquarters and the State Capitol. Seniors with  a 2.5 unweighted GPA or higher are invited to apply online at

Hey Saints! Did you know that if you fail to serve your detentions in 3 days, you will level up to the next consequence?? You will also lose your dance and extended lunch privileges!  In this case, leveling up is not a good thing. Don’t level up!

Attention Saints!! If you are tardy, arrive later in the day, or returning from an appointment…..Please remember to ALWAYS check into attendance office so we know you are on campus.

Taking the SAT?  All students taking the SAT over the next few months.  In order for us to recognize you in the Renaissance rally for the Spring when you earn that 1300+ SAT score you need to report your scores to our school site when you sign up for the test online.  Don't forget!
