Gym & Parking Expansions

Gym expansion at San Dimas High School continues and a new parking lot opens!

The Measure AB expansion of the SDHS gym began in June. Demolition is now complete with locker rooms torn back to the bare studs. Reconstructed locker rooms and restrooms will have all new fixtures, walls and floors. The expansion includes new team rooms for both boys’ and girls’ athletics. Footings are underway for the lobby, which will include a snack bar, restrooms, and trophy displays.

A new lot on Covina Blvd. will provide parking for over 100 staff during the school day and for the San Dimas SportsPlex in the evenings and on weekends. The lot will open October 31st.

Additional projects include a football stadium upgrade and the expansion and resurfacing of the track. The Saints will be able to host CIF track meets once the project is complete. The Center for the Arts construction has begun with the installation of underground utilities.
