Work Permits
Requirements to Obtain and Hold a Work Permit
In order to be eligible to be issued a Work Permit from Bonita Unified School District, a student must:
- Have no more than 5 unexcused period or all-day absences in the previous 9 week grading period.
- Be within 10 credits of the graduation expectations for the grade level in which the student is enrolled.
How to Obtain a Work Permit During the School Year
- Print the Work Permit Request Form
- Read the Work Permit Regulations on the second page
- Complete all information, obtain supervisor and parent signatures
- Bring the completed form to the Career Center at the school of attendance
How to Obtain a Work Permit During the Summer
- Print the Work Permit Request Form
- Read the Work Permit Regulations on the second page
- Complete all information, obtain supervisor and parent signatures
- Bring the completed form to the Office of Student Services for processing
The Bonita Unified School District Office / Education Center
will temporarily relocate during
the renovation of the District's Administration building.
The following departments will provide services from the new location:
Superintendent's Office, Educational Services, Specialized Services, Human Resources, Business Services, Fiscal Services and Payroll
